Use the Ruler Base accessory to extend the base of the machine to provide stability when using rulers, guides and templates.

This ruler base is 12″ wide by 11″ deep.

Ruler Base Kit Contents

• Ruler Base
• 8-inch strip of thick loop tape (blue dot on bag)
• 8-inch strip of medium loop tape (red dot on bag)
• 8-inch strip of thin loop take (yellow dot on bag)

YOU WILL ALSO NEED: Scissors (to customize the fit of the ruler base)

To attach the Easy-Fit Ruler Base

Position the opening of the ruler above at the machine throat, and lay in place. The four slots on the ruler base will be in front of the four tabs on the machine base. There will be about an inch of clearance at the front of the machine.

Slide the ruler base toward the back of the machine, as far as it will go. If it slides on and fits snugly without any binding on one or more of the tabs, you will be able to use the ruler base as it is. If one or more of the tabs binds when sliding it on, or if the ruler base is loose, then follow the steps under To test the fit of the ruler base on the other side of this page.

Installing Easy-Fit Ruler Base Step 3

To remove the Easy-Fit Ruler Base

Slide the ruler base toward the front of the machine, until the slots are free of the tabs. Lift the ruler base up to remove.

IMPORTANT: Never push against the needle bar or the head frame.
